In order to keep our building clean and problem free, Council asks that residents and tenants follow these simple steps:
GARBAGE DISPOSAL
1. Garbage disposed using the on-floor garbage chutes must be securely bagged and tied off to ensure that loose garbage does not coat the walls of the chutes and cause odours.
2. If an owner or tenant is renovating and generating construction debris, the owner or tenant must arrange to have this disposed of at their own expense. The same applies to owners or tenants who are disposing of large items such as unwanted furniture, computer equipment etc. Please ensure that these arrangements are coordinated through the resident caretakers to ensure that the elevator pads are installed to protect the elevators from damage.
3. Please do not use the chutes between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. as it might disturb your neighbours below your floor.
RECYCLING
4. Please separate your recycled goods and make sure that they are placed in the appropriate containers. The containers are marked and signs have been posted on the walls to make it easier for residents and tenants to recycle.
5. Unfortunately, our recycling space is limited and for the moment, we are using a visitor parking space for the cardboard recycling bin. We will hopefully be able to find an appropriate space near the garbage room to relocate this bin. a. Please dissemble cardboard boxes before disposing of them – this will allow us to fill the bin and avoid the unnecessary expense of extra disposal calls.
